Even though it’s been two years, whenever I recall that memory, it’s truly horrifying.
Let me begin recounting that dreadful and painful journey.
I have been consistently taking Vitamin C for about 10 years now.
Whenever I overeat, taking two tablets makes me feel like my digestion improves.
Especially after drinking heavily, taking Vitamin C significantly reduced hangovers the next day.
In fact, it definitely worked.
One day, during a gathering with acquaintances and business partners, the topic of supplements came up.
As we discussed the various supplements everyone was taking, I learned about something called Spirulina.
The effects my acquaintance mentioned were mainly two:
- Their skin improved dramatically.
- They felt much less fatigue.
Since I’ve always been interested in health and often feel drowsy during the day, I was intrigued by this.
The next day, I ordered it online without hesitation.
My skin is particularly sensitive, so much so that even a slight scratch from my fingernails leaves a raised mark.
Around that time, my daily routine included jogging a lap around the park in the morning, going to work, and occasionally having drinks in the evening.
After coming home from drinking, I’d take 2 Vitamin C tablets and a few Spirulina tablets (about 10) before going to bed.
Then, one morning after jogging around the park and coming home, I went to the bathroom.
It was hard to urinate, and suddenly, I noticed streaks of blood coming out.
It was my first time experiencing this in my life. It wasn’t dark urine—it was literally blood.
I got goosebumps all over my body and thought, “Something serious is wrong.”
That day, I went to work, handled urgent tasks, and searched the internet for answers.
There were many articles stating that blood in the urine could be a sign of issues with the kidneys or bladder.
I immediately decided to visit a kidney specialist clinic nearby.
